Skientia is the living knowledge base for an organization. It continuously turns meetings and other company information into structured, searchable, cited organizational memory.
What it is
Meeting transcription is an important way in, but it is not the product. The product is the layer built after capture: the people, companies, topics, decisions, tasks and documents, the connections between them over time, and the ability to retrieve and synthesise that with evidence.
Who it is for
Teams whose knowledge outgrew the people who happened to be in the room, and the agents that increasingly need the same context those people do.
Answers you can check
Every answer links back to the meeting moment or document passage it came from, and distinguishes what was said from what was inferred. A knowledge base you cannot verify is a rumour mill.
Where it comes from
Skientia is built by Happenings Group in Aarhus. Since 2019 we have built software for students and associations in Denmark, the Netherlands and Spain: more than 50,000 accounts and nearly 90,000 tickets sold through the platform.
We use it ourselves
We built it for ourselves first. On 8 October 2026 our own workspace held 666 recorded meetings and calls: sales calls, strategy sessions and customer meetings. Our sales material is written from them.
How we build
A small team working with AI agents every day, on Go, Protocol Buffers, PostgreSQL and React. We sell a way of working that we use ourselves.
What we have learned from customers
Rolling out an AI tool doesn't mean people use it, because it doesn't know their work. Nobody buys a knowledge platform first; they buy one agent that solves one problem. Many teams already paste documents into a chat for every case. And the reasons behind decisions are in meetings, not in documents.
Why Skientia
From the Latin scientia: not science in the modern narrow sense, but knowing, skill and understanding of how things follow from evidence. That is the older meaning, and it is the right one for a knowledge base.
