Comparison
Won't Microsoft or Google just do this?
It is the first question we get. The short answer: they each do it inside their own suite, and no company lives inside one.
Three reasons
Why the suites don't solve it.
Based on each vendor's public documentation as of October 2026.
Each sees its own suite
Copilot is built around Microsoft 365 and Gemini around Google Workspace. Most companies run one of them plus calls, meetings in a room, an accounting system and tools from other vendors.
They run in their cloud
Neither is offered as software you install on your own servers with models you choose. Public bodies and companies with trade secrets increasingly ask for that.
Adoption is left to you
A licence doesn't make people use it. We set Skientia up with your team, starting from one workflow that matters.
Not either-or
Keep Copilot or Gemini. Give them a memory.
Skientia doesn't replace your assistant. It connects over MCP, so the assistant your people already use can read from one shared memory, under each person's own permissions.
Where they are strong
What the suites do well.
Inside their own suite, both search mail and documents well and respect the suite's own permissions. If everything your organization knows lives in one suite and you don't record meetings elsewhere, you may not need us.
How it compares
Stack-agnostic. Not another note taker.
Note takers and suite assistants each see one slice: one platform, one device or one vendor's apps. Skientia sits across all of them, for your people and your agents.
